The standard-fitted mirror housings on your VW Golf 7 can become damaged over time and with mileage. Furthermore, their appearance may seem outdated, so replacing them with more modern models can be a cost-effective and practical way to improve your car's look.
Our mirror covers in carbon or glossy black finish are easy to install; you don't need to remove the mirrors or call a mechanic.

Our DIY tutorial
Procedure time: 10 to 15 minutes
Tools needed:
Flathead screwdriver or plastic lever
Long-nose pliers (optional)
You can purchase tools in DIY stores near you, or on the websites of brands like Stanley, Facom, KS Tools…
Assembly steps:
As a preliminary step, make sure you are working in a well-lit area with space around you (garage, outdoor courtyard, clear parking space).
1. Using the electric rearview mirror adjustment motor, tilt your mirror as far down as possible.

Next, remove your rearview mirror glass.
2. Next, unclip the rearview mirror cover; two clips hold it in place.
3. Take your new mirror covers and clip them into place. You may need to use a flathead screwdriver or long-nose pliers to apply extra pressure (pinch the clip and twist it slightly).

4. Reattach your rearview mirror glass. Apply firm and even pressure over the entire surface.
5. Your Volkswagen is now equipped with our Performance mirror caps! Admire the result; you can send us your photos, and we'll be happy to display them in the shop.
